• There's no network. Any Cigna Medicare Advantage customer with the dental allowance can receive services and can utilize any licensed dentists who are not on Medicare’s exclusion and preclusion list and/or who has opted out of Medicare. Help your customer find a dentist who works within the allowance by checking this list ^◊, updated monthly.
• Avoid copays and deductibles. The dental provider bills Cigna. The customer is not responsible for any upfront costs up to the benefit amount.
• Most services are covered. Typical dental services like cleanings and exams, x-rays, filling and repair of cavities, root canals, extractions and crowns are all covered by the allowance. Cosmetic procedures are not eligible for the benefit.
